The British Council’s Exams department organised a training programme for principals, heads of departments and teachers in collaboration with Connecting Classrooms.

The British Council’s Partner Schools Global Network (PSGN) is the community of schools that offer a UK curriculum leading to exams such as the O level, IGCSE and A level, administered in cooperation with the British Council.

The training was conducted for 186 teachers and 28 principals and head of teachers from 14 associate schools to the British Council’s ‘Partner Schools Global Network – PSGN’. the training covered PSGN teachers and leadership as well as Introduction to core skills and critical thinking, delivered by trainers from the nationwide Connecting Classrooms  project.

An important part of our PSGN offer for schools is to give the opportunity for leaders, teachers and students in schools to meet, share and exchange knowledge, experiences and best practice with their peers.

Schools that are under the PSGN umbrella benefit from various opportunities, such as leadership training, courses, assessment tools and staying connected to the latest trends in the teaching world via conferences. Not only limited to Khartoum, Schools in Madani and recently in Port Sudan joined as well and the network is expanding.
