All of our passionate and dedicated teachers meet the highest international standards with formal qualifications and extensive experience in teaching business English.

Our minimum requirements for teachers are:

  • education to degree level or equivalent qualification
  • a certificate level qualification in teaching English as a foreign language such as Cambridge University CELTA or Trinity College London CertTESOL
  • at least two years’ teaching experience
  • high proficiency in the use of the English language.

Jemima Hughes

"I’m from the UK and have been teaching English for over 10 years. I’ve taught in the UK, India, Cambodia and have been teaching in Sudan since 2013.

I’m currently the Corporate Programmes Manager and it’s my job to support the business community in Sudan in building their English capacity and developing their soft-skills.  I have a certTESOL (2002), an MA in Applied Linguistics and ELT (2011), and a DELTA (2014).  

My interests are travel, yoga and photography."

"I am from the UK and have spent the last 18 months teaching in Khartoum. Before that I taught English in England and Germany.  I deliver courses in Professional Development, General English, IELTS preparation, TKT and also courses for Young Learners.  

I love having the opportunity to meet people from different cultures and walks of life and have enjoyed many experiences in Sudan.

I received my CELTA in 2011. In the UK, my interests are growing my own food, cooking international food, travel, art and wildlife."
